Lis found pole when she tagged along with a friend to a pole class in 2014, but it wasn't until she prepared for her first showcase in Spring 2018 that she became committed. Entering her first competition in Fall 2018 she then started instructing at Studio 4. She has competed in Aerialympics and Pole Sport Organization's live and virtual competitions. She focuses on teaching and the growth of the studio between training for comps. Lis's favorite thing about pole is how you can have expertise in a different style and at any level.

In 2016, Miss V purchased a Groupon for a pole dancing class and fell in love. She discovered a new found confidence in herself and took that to the stage. Just two-weeks before her first competition she was diagnosed with Stage II Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Miss V persisted, and competed at 2017 PSO’s Northwest Exotic L1 and placed second. Within a year of finishing her last chemo, Miss V was back competing at 2019 PSO’s Emerald Exotic L2, and although she didn’t place, she was grateful for the experience. 

Miss V loves tapping into the sexy side of pole and encourages her students to find their inner hottie.

KD found pole in 2022 after a long season of bed rest and neurological injuries. She had no idea how beautifully and drastically pole would change her life. Throughout her youth she loved ballet, gymnastics, and rock climbing. Anything to stay in motion, spinning, and flying through the air has always been her wheelhouse. Falling in love with pole satiated this gap in her adulthood, and bloomed an unimaginable sense of confidence and purpose in her life.

KD has been teaching pole since June 2023. Watching her pole students grow and believe in their own strength is one of her favorite things in the whole world.

Jenna's extensive dance background and love for weight lifting led her to pole.  She wanted challenge her body in a new way and continue exploring  movement when she graduated college and had to leave her dance company. Jenna started poling at Studio 4 in 2018 and has been teaching since 2019. Additionally, she has over 10 years of dance experience and  has directed/lead multiple teams and companies. Jenna loves how hard pole is and how hard you have to work to get to the level  you want to be!

Kenzie started poling in 2017, back when Studio 4 was known as Gigi's. Drawn to a creative outlet and quickly becoming friends with the previous owner, she jumped at the opportunity to assistant teach. Kenzie began teaching in 2019 at Studio 4, going on to place 2nd in PSO Emerald 2019 Level 3 Dramatic.

Gracie started her pole journey with Studio 4 in 2021, and quickly became addicted to the unique blend of strength and grace required of the sport. After returning home from a remote season as a park ranger in 2024, she decided to pursue a longtime goal and become an instructor.

Ruby discovered pole through their best friend who was taking pole classes at the time. Ruby's mom had recently been diagnosed with cancer in 2016 and they were looking for something active to keep their mind off of their sadness. Ruby started stripping in 2019.

Ruby's Pole Classes

Christa has been training in pole dancing since 2012, specifically in heels and Russian style pole since 2015. She has been teaching since 2015. She has gone through certification courses, years of classes and workshops at multiple studios both locally and internationally, Iand had no prior dance training before starting pole dancing. Christa poled through both pregnancies and utilized pole dancing for postpartum and pelvic floor recovery. She has focused on working with a wide variety of bodies, skill sets, and especially with people of no athletic background or upper body strength. 

Christa has traveled to Los Angeles, Moscow, and St. Petersburg to take master classes and private lessons from pole dancers such as Olga Koda, Bada Poledancer, Eva Bembo, Dimitri Politov, Nina Kozub, Sasha Meow, and Daria Chebatova (Daria Che). She has also taken workshops in the States from Natasha Wang, Drusilla Ray, Rachelle Ribera, Iris Sparrow, Sarah Jade, Samantha Starr, and Tia Jax. 

She can be found on Instagram @chicalet and is available for private lessons starting at $65 hour, with options available upon request if you want to bring a friend/cost share. Private classes are available for 3+ persons starting at 35/person/hour. She is also available for pole-related art commissions.

Sabrina discovered pole when one of her friends invited her to a pole dance  class. After the first class, she fell in love with it. After a bit of family trauma, Sabrina needed a good distraction, and she became more serious about pole.

After college, Sabrina started teaching pole and signed up for her first competition. Competing at PSO changed her life and helped Sabrina hone in on her goals. Sabrina loves watching her students grow beyond their capability not only at pole, but also with their self-image and resilience.

Kaylani started her pole journey in 2017 at Linda Lee's before its metamorphisis into Studio 4. She has been practicing in multiple studios in the PNW and south/central Texas ever since.

Kaylani had always been curious about pole as a frequent club goer and saw that there was a studio near her house. She had just finished her Bachelor's degree and thought it would be a fun new hobby to take on with her new found free time. After signing up and wanting to make the most of the membership, she found herself in the studio multiple times a week, addicted to seeing what else she could learn or smooth out. Never considering herself graceful or creative, the pole community has been supportive and encouraging - helping her look at herself through a different lens.

You can now find her as an instructor for Beginner Pole classes teaching conditioning, beginner spins, climbs, sits, and basic combos.

For the past decade, Ashley has attended multiple types of group dance fitness classes. After moving to Vancouver in the spring of 2023, she decided to start teaching, but with a style and choreo all her own-- grooving to hiphop songs.  Since moving here in March, Ashley has dedicated much of her free time to taking on a new fitness challenge-- pole dancing.
